Tips On Choosing Chic Spring Fashions You Want To Know
by: Bridget Allen
When the snow starts to melt and flowers begin to dot the scenery, you know it is spring!
What better way to celebrate the coming of the season with packing away your heavy winter sweaters and coats and welcoming the spring season in with pastel colors, feminine prints, and gauzy clothing?
When it comes time to plan your spring wardrobe, it may be tempting to run around in thin, flutter sleeve shirts and flirty skirts, but your local weather may not allow it.
Keep your physical weather in mind before you buy silky tops, cropped pants, and flippant skirts?finding yourself out in the cold!
Many places in the country equate spring with rain.
If you live in an area where the March, April, and May showers mean summertime flowers, then take this into account when choosing your spring fashion wardrobe.
Consider purchasing a fantastic rain jacket, cute rain hat, or fantastic umbrella to warm off the wet weather and remain dry.
Also, the trend here of recent allows individuals to wear brightly patterned galoshes with everyday clothing in order to protect your tootsies from the puddles.
If you area allows warmer clothing to be ushered in with the spring season, then do not hold back!
Choose strappy heels that will provide your feet with a much needed break from stuffy boots.
Do not forget to treat yourself to that lovely pedicure and paint your tootsies a lovely pastel shade of pink.
Find flirty dresses, skirts, and tops that are one hundred percent feminine and spring-like.
You may need to look into a couple of cardigans to cover up on the chilly days, but look for one with pretty trim like lace or crochet.
Finally, lighten up from those heavy wool pants and choose lightweight trousers that are crisply pressed and khaki in color.
However, many of us live in areas where spring only means winter with a few more flowers.
If you find yourself stuck in winter, even though spring has arrived, change your state of mind.
Even though you may still need those heavy coats, perk it up with a brightly colored faux flower corsage.
Look into swapping out those dark winter colors for light springtime colors like pinks, green, purples, white, cream, and blues.
If you find you need those winter boots, still treat yourself to a pedicure to perk up your tootsies to feel more spring like on the inside.

Designing a Fun Family Coat of Arms
Designing a Fun Family Coat of Arms
by: Chris Simeral
Armorial bearings, or coats of arms, take us back to the glamour of the middle ages. In days of old, knights displayed heraldic devices on their horses' caparisons, their servants' liveries, and on their banners and shields. As war medals are awarded today, so coats' of arms and other heraldic devices could be awarded to knights for their service in battle. But the primary role of coats' of arms was identification in battle ? the bright, vibrant colors and symbols identified the knight to his men, and his flying banner was a rallying point for them.
Heraldry refers to the study of coats of arms, and takes its name from the Heralds, who were the special ambassadors and messengers of feudal times. They were employed by all great lords, and by the king. Because Heralds traveled freely around the country, they were also the armorial officials. They granted armorial bearings. At tournaments, it...

Looking After Leather
Looking After Leather
by: Jane Lake
With a little care, you can keep leather clothing looking its best for years, according to an expert on leater from The Olde Hide House in Acton, Ontario.
- Leather naturally repels water but, for additonal protection, look for an environmentally friendly repellent product to help prevent absorption of water and body oils. It's best to avoid silicone-based repellents which retard leather's ability to "breathe."
- Let wet leather garments dry in well-ventilated areas, away from heat. The leather may stiffen slightly but should soften again after wearing.
- Hang leather coats and jackets on thick or padded hangers to keep the shoulders in shape. Don't load pockets with heavy or bulky items, which could tear seams.
- Plastic bags tend to dry out or discolor leather. Use a cotton garment bag for off-season storage, or hang coats as usual, draping a tea-towel over the shoulders to deter dust....

Comparing Goldendoodles and Labradoodles
Comparing Goldendoodles and Labradoodles
by: Edie MacKenzie
Goldendoodle and Labradoodle breeder Michael Waggenbach, of Sunshine Acres feels, ?For a therapy dog, the Goldendoodle is the better choice. I?m not sure what it is, but they don?t tend to dust all the tabletops when walking into a hospital or an elderly home, where the Labradoodles? tails are going back forth so fast they dust every thing off.?
During an interview with Indiana Doodle Owners Group founder Beth Line, she said, ?There?s a very distinct difference between Labradoodles and Goldendoodles,? Beth said. ?As an owner and observer of behavioral traits I see a big difference. It takes more to convince the Labradoodles to come into your environment ? into your space. They will evaluate you before they walk into your area. And, they?re very loyal, friendly, all the things Labs are, but they need to be convinced that walking into your space is a good idea. They won?t come...
